| On 3-9-13 former Alpha councilman, Chris Pfefferle, met with Mike Savary at Craig Dunwell's (mom's) residence. Pfefferle has met with council members countless times in 2013 and taxpayers often share photos of his presence as evidence that "something is going on". Pfefferle is known for unethical and possibly illegal actions. He was caught lying on record during the police contract negotiations and also lied about his living situation to remain on council after moving from Alpha Borough. |
Alpha feels numerous council members are corrupt. Lou Cartabona, Mike Savary, Craig Dunwell, Carol Schwar and Mike Schwar responded to residents' outcry for transparency and justice by filing a defamation suit against Save Alpha for posting about Alpha's issues publicly online.

| On 6-22-13, Craig Dunwell and Carol Schwar stopped walking in the parade (Alpha Volunteer Fire Company's 100th Anniversary) to walk up to the sidewalk and take pictures of a sign protesting corruption on Alpha town council. Residents were outraged to see council members walking in the parade after refusing to assist Alpha in obtaining a much needed fire truck. Volunteers respond to emergencies in their own vehicles. |
